Bug#389225: Bad anulling of instruction in delay slot (gcc 4.1.1-13, sparc, building kernel)

2006-09-24 Thread Daniel Widenfalk
Package: gcc-4.1 Version: 4.1.1-13 Severity: important The compiler generates bad code when building the kernel using gcc-4.1. I'm no expert at Sparc assembler syntax, but it seems to be wrong. This is from the assembler list file generated by gcc-4.1 when compiling (-O2) /usr/src/linux/net/netf

ds of problems. I've tracked down the locations where the differences occur and need to know which is the correct directory in order to fix it :-) Best regards /Daniel Widenfalk -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Building cross compilers

2005-12-11 Thread Daniel Widenfalk
8k-linux/sys-include, but these two directories do not exist. I figure this is due to me removing the libc6-dev-m68k-cross dependency to get past problem 1 above. How do I create the libc6-dev-m68k-cross package without having a m68k-cross gcc? Many thanks /Daniel Widenfalk -- To UNSUBSC
