Severity: important
The compiler generates bad code when building the kernel using
gcc-4.1. I'm no expert at Sparc assembler syntax, but it seems
to be wrong.
This is from the assembler list file generated by gcc-4.1 when
compiling (-O2) /usr/src/linux/net/netf
ds of
problems. I've tracked down the locations where the differences
occur and need to know which is the correct directory in order
to fix it :-)

8k-linux/sys-include, but these two directories do not
exist. I figure this is due to me removing the libc6-dev-m68k-cross
dependency to get past problem 1 above.
How do I create the libc6-dev-m68k-cross package without having
a m68k-cross gcc?
