I'd like to see something in there about CC-ing debian-private on some
of those E-mails. Other developers may have information about what's
happened to the MIA.

It seems to me that the bigger problem is developers who've already
made it in, but who just aren't doing their job.
Scanning the RC bug list, I see lots of bugs along the lines of "wrong
build dependency", or "simple 2-line patch included", many filed
months ago. If the problem's been fixed, why
