I see that bug in 12.04 64 bits on 3 Lenovo PCs, most likely the bug is
not related to hardware.

I tried a solution from #107 at HP mini. On that laptop the bug was 100%
reproducible, if as a first thing after reboot you open chromium and start
typing. After implementing #107 bug did not happened, or at least it is not
100% reproducible any more.

I found something, that might help to debug the bug. If I uncheck 'disable
touchpad while typing' as suggested in #103 and move my finger on touchpad,
while typing garbage fast, I see the cursor to do a jerk movement once in a
while instead of staying still.

I setup it go to sleep on battery power
The bug did not show up.
However I recall seeying double login not related to suspend in the
past. I believe (not 100% sure) that it was gone after upgrading to
proposed unity

I have my personal T410 and never seen that bug. It has UMA graphics and
set to suspend if Lid is closed on battery power. I will try some Dell
with 11.10 and report results. Does LID closed suspending fit the bug
description?

I verified the bug on the Dell Laptop with BCM4313 (14e4:4727) WiFi
card, running oneiric.
I toggled rfkill switch 10 times. Wifi came back successfully.
On the same HW before upgrade I was able to use rfkill switch no more then 3
times in a row
