Alright, just tried a little test on Ubuntu ( should be the same for any other
platform also )
Yes, if after you alter the pk columns in the tables to be IDENTITY you run
SHUTDOWN SCRIPT or SHUTDOWN COMPACT in the sql window, close Base and reopen it
everything works just fine.

Now that my table is created and functional, I have some basic user
questions:
1. How to change the name of an existing column?
I tried to double click on the column title window, but it doesn't give
me a cursor to change the name.
2. How to add a column?
I cannot find anywhere command for "in

Hi Marc,
Just a quick and dirty out
Swarup,
Please notice the P.S. at the bottom before you continue.

Swarup uses Ubuntu and it is quite difficult to transfer data from a

Swarup,
I'm not a developer, so I can hardly tell if things have to be like

least mature component in this office suite, although a rock stable,
reliable database could be the most attractive component to serve all
other components

Hello, Swarup
I've added a detailed step-by-step instruction how to import mdb via

Good luck,
