Hi all,
I think that changing the .htaccess file is already considered in the
checklist of our beloved Release Manager, right?
Also I can't remember if this is something that is going to affect the
ongoing NetCAT, if we should do it right now in order to verify that the
URL is proper with th

Perfect.
Now, we need some brave person to replace the links as described in my:
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NETBEANSINFRA-185
because NetBeans 12.0 Beta 3 still refers to the incorrect old 11.0
catalog and this must change prior to the 12.0 release.
Any volunteer?

Hi,
Great news. that has to be done on the OAuth providers (github, Google,
etc.).
BTW, let me know if we want to upload the passwords for those to the PMC
private SVN repository.
Kind regards,
Antonio

Hi all,
So login should be working again. The PP3 plugin portal is available now
both at:
[1] https://plugins.netbeans.apache.org
and
[2] https://netbeans-vm.apache.org/pluginportal
In the future I propose to deprecate [2].

I imagine we'll have to change the callback url from the plugin portal,
so OAuth redirects properly to the new URL. Will take a look at that.

Mmm... puppet is removing the symbolic link periodically. This will

Hi Jirka,
Infra has already set up the new domain and the web server. We had a
problem with the certificate and the web server (the puppet tool Infra
uses started the web server before requesting the certificate) but it's
solved now.
Problem is that /var/www/html/pluginportal is empty now.
FYI, I have created this pull request to remove the legacy 8.2 update
center from NetBeans 12.0:

Antonio, can you please take care of

Well, these guys at Apache Infra are really awesome, INFRA-20089 is
already closed, so I opened INFRA-20090 to set up the virtual web server.
https://github.com/apache/infrastructure-puppet/pull/1754
I hope I didn't break anything!
Cheers,

Hi Jirka,
I'll request a new DNS subdomain plugins.netbeans.apache.org
After that we'll request the web server setup. You should keep on doing
deployments as usual. No changes should be required.
I'll post here the JIRA tickets and the advances.

Hi Antonio & others,
it looks like most people prefer getting rid of old PP2 update
centers so if you could redirect
https://plugins.netbeans.apache.org/pluginportal to
https://netbeans-vm.apache.org/pluginportal/ so that NetBeans Plugin
Portal then points to [5] it would be great.

Hi all,
Let me know if we want to use
https://plugins.netbeans.apache.org/pluginportal instead of [1] and we
can try to set it up quickly.
Cheers,
Antonio

Thanks Neil for your comment in my MR about getting rid of the legacy

in order to motivate NetBeans plugin developers to start using the
