Hello, Achal Soni has been working on Pig-on-Tez and has created a JIRA to recreate the ExecutionEngine abstraction in Pig. https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/PIG-3419 This allows to plug in things like Pig-on-Tez or Spork (Pig-on-Spark) Achal has created reviews for this (see JIRA) It would be nice if Pig old-timers could give it a look.
