Does anyone else have an idea on this?
Who uses the eclipse maven plug to import the stratos source as maven
projects? Do you import the whole stratos source as described on the wiki
page [1], or do you just import a few projects at a time?

Hi Nirmal,
I'm using Eclipse Kepler JEE SR2.
During import of the projects (Import -> Maven -> Existing Maven
Project), I see the errors in the image: m2e_import.png
After importing the projects, I see the errors in the image: m2e_errors.png.
Many thanks,

I'm using Eclipse and I have a plugin installed. Probably it's something to
do with the version of Eclipse, you are using. What are the errors you are
getting?

Hi Nirmal,
I wanted to make sure the instructions were robust before pointing new
developers at them, but I got a load of build errors when using m2e.
If other devs are using m2e successfully with Stratos, then I'll try
and figure out what I'm doing wrong. Otherwise, I'd prefer to give
new devel

Hi Devs,
I just noticed the wiki page for setting up a development environment
[1]. Until now, I had been using 'mvn eclipse:eclipse' and then
importing projects into eclipse as standard java projects.
Is importing the projects as 'maven projects' as described on [1], the
preferred way for worki

Small, bite sized, tasks are good for a few reasons:
1) Does not take much effort on either party
2) Allows for deployment or work by those who can do task
3) Could be rolled up to more complex activity

Hi Dale, thanks for the interest!
At the moment, I'm thinking that mentoring should be on a task by task
basis, and that we have a wiki page with a table to track tasks that need
to be done. The table could have headings like this:
- Task overview
- JIRA link (if applicable)
- What are the benefi

Hi Devs,
I just added a JIRA ticket for an improvement that will allows users
to install stratos from releases artifacts [1], and it got me thinking
that this task (and a few others I have added to JIRA) would be ideal
projects for new developers coming to Stratos.
I'm still a Stratos newbie (rel

Hi Devs, would it make sense for us to provide a zip file of the puppet
artifacts as part of the release so that users installing from binaries
don't need to check out the stratos source code?
