Hi All,
Sorry for being late on this thread. A similar issue has been reported in
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/STRATOS-675. Faced this issue when
having multiple clusters. In that case, CEP always sends the stats to a
particular cluster rather than sending stats per cluster. So, one clust

Hi Udara,
This is a good idea. What about having a configuration guide for Apache
Stratos, which includes configurations for customization plus default
configurations. I think it will be a huge effort to gather all the
descriptions, but if we all can get together and create a configuration
guide,
Re-igniting this discussion, I think registry based approach is not a
viable solution, as what we store here is pretty complex set of
relationships.
IMO we should come up with a DB design and uses a DB, to store these
information.

Considering these IMHO we should do a 4.1.0 against master brach ASAP. All

Hi Gayan,
I have few things to get clarified in the initial design.
Are you maintaining the data structure template per tenant? How do you
maintain the password in the cartridge instance?
Does the communication between metadata-service and Greg happen in tenant
mode or super-tenant mode?
Thank

Further clarification of point 1 ,
In current meta data service once you call the retrieve meta data service
with cartridge specified, it will return whole set of meta data related to
that cartridge. So in the client side you need to filter the information
you needed from that response JSON object.

Hi Gayan,
Great work with the initial version of the meta data service!
I have a couple of questions regarding the current implementation.
1. In addition to getting all the meta data at one time, is it possible to
specifically get the value for one meta data property?

I agree Chris. What's the method you propose? mailing-list? I already
