Any chance the slides or notes from that session will be archived someplace
public?
I'm very interested in community building, particularly the things that
measurably do and don't work, but I've got an unavoidable conflict.

When I get stuck at the Thundersoft screen, I just reboot the device in
Fastboot mode(*), then flash the base image again.
QA is currently using the full flash option ("images", not "gaia+gecko") to
avoid brokenness due to gonk weirdness. Maybe give that a try next time?

Just digging into FXOS development, have been working on flashing my hamachi
for a couple of days. My setup is as follows:
* Retina MBP running Mavericks
* VMware Fusion 6.0.
