If you are running under Cygwin on Windows you need to specify your serial
ports as /dev/comx
For example in one of our setups we have
group=smsc
smsc=at2
smsc-id=Motorola1
modemtype=motorola_p7389i
device=/dev/com2
retry=true
keepalive=600

I agree with Arbel regarding Windoze, however, sometimes I have to work with
it. I have just built Kannel 1.2.0 by downloading the source and compiling
under the latest version of Cygwin and it worked first time giving a set of
executables for Kannel.
