I have gone ahead and filed a bug for this (Bug ID: 1468029) and proposed it as final blocker as we are so close to Final release of Fedora 26 and this definitely seems like a blocker to me. A working Wayland session is a requirement for final release if I am not wrong.

Updates repositories switch to Fedora 22 normal Updates
