So would %L be used in a multi-server environment?

Done - e-smith-samba-1.

Just to be clear on this - the shipped alpha has %L in both fragments. I

I suppose it's possible, but very uncommon with an e-smith/SME setup, to be
logging into one server that authenticates against another. I partici

Hi!
anyone tried to install
Melody WAP Mail 1.5 ? (www.melody.se). I have no success. I got 500 error in
my browser. Cannot figure out what is wrong.
If s.o. know another good WAP mail server that is compatible with e-smith,
please help.
Thanx in advance,

You're the one that solved this one. I'll email Gordon directly with the
changes that need to be made to the two fragments.

And to the parameter in the 11logonPath fragment - it has the same issue.

Very good. Seems that I've read somewhere that Win9x/Me uses this variable
to store profiles.
Looks like Gordon is on the cc list for this thread so I'm sure he'll modify
the 11logonHome fragment accordingly. I believe, after coming full circle

No, this has no effect.
Setting "logon home = \\\%L\%U\.profiles" works.

Confirmed. I don't use roaming profiles, so haven't playing with either of
these parameters up until now. This is very strange Perl shouldn't
interpret a \ as an esca

I think that this is what the problem may be - I see only a single \ ahead
of %L, and the same in the logon path line:

I apologize as I made an error in the correction I submitted. The logon
home path that I specified has one to made forward slashes. The fragment
should read:

I believe you've found a problem with the current samba fragments. They've
been under heavy development for a few weeks now.
Gordon,
I think the 11logonHome and 11logonPath fragments are in error. First, the
files are "named" backwards. The contents for 11logonHome should be the
contents of 1

There is no "logon drive" directive.
