Hi all,
Got some news but first two questions
I was playing around with setting on a test 5.1.2 box the other day and
got carried away and instead of diabling transparent proxying on the
text box I did it on the "live" box.. woops..(that'll teach me to have
multiple ssh windows open) I wasn't to

Thanks for the reminder, Dan.
I had already contacted [EMAIL PROTECTED] and they suggested I
announce the availability of the HOWTO and the RPM on this list to
get it tested by people on x86. Anyway, the HOWTO is now linked from
the 'Contibuted HOWTO' page.
Cheers,
Robert

Those of you who do customization work on e-smith boxes might want
to check out my latest contrib:
e-smith-lib-compspec-0.1.0-01.noarch.rpm
It's a set of bash functions to enable tab completion for the four core
e-smith command-line tools:
/sbin/e-smith/signal-event
/sbin/e-smith/db
/sbin/e
Just as a reminder, if any of you have HOWTOs that you would like
listed on the page of contributed HOWTO documents, please send them to:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
where someone will get it up on the page.
Thanks,
Dan

Hi all,
I needed a magic print filter for a number of reasons. I found
apsfilter (http://www.apsfilter.org/) and liked it. I've packaged it
up into an RPM and have written a HOWTO on how to install and use it.
This is my first attempt at a HOWTO and I welcome feedback.
The HOWTO (with a link t
I am using e-smith 5.0, i wanted to know what kernel
configuration parameters are set in its kernel
(2.2.19-7.0.0 on an i686)
Can anyone tell me where to find this information, it
would be great for me.
Thanks a lot in advance
Vineet
