No, it doesn't. Once 5.5 is released, I'll get an e-smith-imp
package released that works with it. IMP 3.1 as I've packaged it
will work on 5.5b
I wonder if this runs on the new e-smith 5.5b9...
BTW Has anyone installed Kronolith on e-smith?

To complement the IMP 3.1 RC3 RPM I posted a couple of days ago,
I've updated e-smith-imp to version 1.6.6 to incorporate the new
configuration options available with IMP 3.1. Because IMP 3.1 is
still in RC status, I'd classify both of thes

I have 5.5b4, and would like to test out 5.5b9. The instructions I
found on e-smith.org don't seem to work (maybe they're only for
release versions, not betas). What's the best way to rsync from
5.5b4 to b9? Thanks!

Have just finished downloading and installing the new beta in my old
Pentium 133Mhz with 64MB :) ...
Everything went well thru -no problems at all- (remember my beta4

Will try later the PPTP VPN connection from home to office...
Any recomendation of something to look bugs into? :)

tht previous public one ?

Sorry, as has been pointed out already, the URL is
ftp://ftp.e-smith.org/pub/e-smith/dev/. Serves me right for cutting and
pasting from a previous announcement without checking ... :
5.5beta9 is now in ftp.e-smith.org/pub/dev and on our mirror sites.
Please use a mirror close to you.

SME Server Version 5.5beta9

Not to disparage it in any way, but SME currently is a wrapper around
RedHat 7.1. While it should in principle be possible to make it a
wrapper around a different OS or Linux distribution, this would
entail rewriting each and every e-smith module. The result would be
not a port of SME to PPC,
Is there a howto for installing Spam Assasin, because I am a little bit
confused here, first you say you use an rpm and then you say you install from
CPAN? Am I missing something here?
