Have just finished downloading and installing the new beta in my old Pentium 133Mhz with 64MB :) ... Everything went well thru -no problems at all- (remember my beta4 wooes?) Will try later the PPTP VPN connection from home to office... Any recomendation of something to look bugs into? :)

Not to disparage it in any way, but SME currently is a wrapper around RedHat 7.1. While it should in principle be possible to make it a wrapper around a different OS or Linux distribution, this would entail rewriting each and every e-smith module. The result would be not a port of SME to PPC,
