Playlists are currently stored in two tables:
- The playlist file together with the playlist title is stored in the
"tracks" table
- The "tracks" table also contains all the music files
- The "playlist_track" table contains the relation between a playlist
file and the music file, basically the pla

Okay, since it would obviously mean a major rewrite to adodpt a
different database structure, how about this for a suggestion:
The Playlist table doesn't really need to be coupled to the rest of the
database as it is just a list of tracks to be played. The columns
required are Playlist name, Sequ
make sure your ripping software includes the information that is needed
by the server...

I'm using version 7.0 of SqueezeCenter server on Windows Server 2003
(32-bit). When I perform a scan, it picks up all my music but shows 0
artists. When I check the scan log I see this entry:

Error: Couldn't execute SQL state

for the record i have found the Duet so unusable that i have
decommissioned it in its original intended place of deployment. i have
set up a SB3 instead. the Duet will either get returned or will sit it
out in an area of very occasional use, waiting for firmware and
software to come up to par.

My SB3 is doing the same thing right now. No response to the remote
control when connected to squeezenetwork. If I reboot it and connect
to squeezecenter it works fine. I think squeezenetwork may be having
some problems tonight (Sunday).

This happened after a reinstall, during which it had no other problems.
To begin with, it got stuck on "Now playing" without anything playing
at all, and then there would be no response to the remote control at
all, left/right/off - nothing happened. I finally managed to turn it

severeal times a day. I have not counted the exact number.
I am using iTunes for Windows together with SqC. My iTunes reload

Sounds like a code error - the code was trying to shift some bits to the
right 'X' number of places where 'X' had not been defined (initialized).

I've just upgraded my Squeezecenter to the latest version on Windows XP
(SP2). I'm running a central server, my music resides on a NAS which is
accessable on a network drive z:\Jukebox. Under this drive, iTunes is
storing all Artists-Albums. I already could scan the directory, but

I've been using V6 of squeezebox on my G5 mac for a while, and it's
been superb. I've recently bought a new mac-mini to act as my media
server and moved my music across (some 100gb), and installed V7 on the
mac-mini, and it only seems about 100 artists as opposed to the 13,000+
