adding the :9000 on the end? What I do
not know is if it will mess other things up.
Second question is how do I set up SSH on a mac. I am not a programmer
or a terminal wizz so is there a step by step way to do it or is this
likely to be beyond me?

Hi,
No idea what it was but I used spotlight to remove everything I could
find with the name slim. I then installed 6.3.1. It now seams to be
working, which is great!!

Is there a way of turning these files back into playable files or have
I lost them all? They were all in folders named Fnn (were nn is a
number from 00 to 49). The ipod was also formatted for a mac (so it
works on both mac and PC).
