Is there an easy way to get Django's test framework to report on the number of assertions performed instead of the number of test-methods called? I have things like

   def test_date_fenceposts(self):
     date_result_tuples_to_test = (
       (date(2011,4,1), 35),
       ... #however many test dates I need for fencepost checks
       )
     for date, result in date_result_tuples_to_test:
       self.assertEqual(process(date), result)

However when I "./manage.py test" this, I only get one test result, but I'd like to know that this actually tested len(date_result_tuples_to_test) assertions.

Any way to get the desired output?
