Same issue here. Scrollwheel does not work in gedit and document viewer,
but it works perfectly in Firefox, Mousepad. I use Ubuntu 13.10 with

pressing Enter, there's a delay of about 2 seconds until the application
is started. In these 2 seconds, the little spinning wheel to the left of
the entry field is spinning.

Alexandru, the next time this happens could you attach a new screenshot
-and- the output of "upower --dump"? indicator-power gets the time
remaining from upower, so I'd like to see whether the information in
"upower --dump" shows the same error or whether indicator-power is
introducing the bug itse
This behavior isn't in the spec. IIRC it was removed when the user and
session menus were merged toether in 12.10, but I'm not positive and
don't see the behavior in the old wiki versions of the spec either.

So I'm seeing two separate requests here:
1. The icons should do a better job of showing the battery charge, and
2. It would be nice to show the battery percentage next to the icon

This looks like a two-part issue.
One, indicator-power needs to listen for the "Resuming" signal from
upower to know when the system is resuming from suspend / hibernate. I'm
linking a branch to do this.
Two, it looks like upower isn't emitting this signal properly, so I'm

Yeah, it's very unfortunate that apport incorrectly marks bugs as dups
