Thank you for taking the time to report this crash and helping to make
this software better. This particular crash has already been reported
and is a duplicate of bug #1298654, so is being marked as such.
Ubuntu 13.10, FF 28.0. Did some more testing. Problem indeed starts when
you press ALT en type something. Due to my huge bookmark collection hud-
service takes 1.3 GB and unity-panel-service 900MB (FF 800MB after
start) and for some reason it stalls FF eventhough CPU usage is only 3%.
After ending
Using 13.10. I have thousands of bookmarks in firefox 28.0. I disabled
the unity extensions in Firefox. Most of the times it works okay, and I
did not have the problem on earlier versions of Ubuntu. But lately Hud-
service and unity-panel-service reach gigabytes of ram, totally stalling
my compute
Workaround:
1) Start the Eclipse
2) find pid of the process
3) taskset -p 0x0001
The problem is something like with volatile and synchronized; with this I used
two Eclipse instances for 12 hours without a crash!
After restart I forgot to set it again and Eclipse crashed after 5 minutes ...

Using Ubuntu 14.04 final beta. Intermittently, when I lock the screen
then unlock after a period of time the screen locks again by itself and
I must unlock one more time.
To date I haven't found a pattern for when this happens other than it
seems to occur

ctrl+alt+t gave me a terminal.

Thanks for reporting this bug. This looks similar to bug #1289820 which
I'm currently working on. I have found that in order for this to
happen, you have to open CCSM and go to General Options->Desktop Size
and set Number of Desktops to anything other than 1.

It's probably worth mentioning that with the latest Eclipse (Kepler)
this bug does not occur. Perhaps looking at the differences between
what happens on "close" in the find dialog in Kepler and Juno will shed
some light on what is causing the crash.

The importance of this bug really needs to be elevated. Unity font
sizes should be based off of the default GTK font size, like most other
