Same issue here. Scrollwheel does not work in gedit and document viewer, but it works perfectly in Firefox, Mousepad. I use Ubuntu 13.10 with XFCE-Desktop. I have a Logitech-Mouse with Nano-Reciever. 3.11.0-11-generic #17-Ubuntu SMP Tue Oct 1 19:42:04 UTC 2013 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux -- Y
