Can you try this command in a terminal: sudo apt-get install --reinstall unity-lens-applications unity-lens- files Than please log out and in and try the search again. If this doesn't work you can delete the directory ~/.local/share/zeitgeist/ with the commands rm -r ~/.local/share/zeitgeist/ z
