Public bug reported: When I use virtual machine or remote desktop and those operating systems crash or froze the host system sometimes "loses" the keyboard. I must kill the VM or RD to have keyboard again. I experienced this issue with Ubuntu 12.04 and 14.04 and mainly Windows as VM or RD.
