I totally agree with the dual NIC approach. The only time I've used two
NIC's in a server is if it's clustered, NIC Teaming, or it's acting as a
firewall/Proxy...
The problem is I disable this NIC before and the exchange services would
not start afterward.

I would get an anti SPAM gateway and put it in front of your mail server.
That way it will catch the SPAM before it gets in the mailboxes.

Hi all. I hope that someone here has had some experience with GFI

spitting out .IST files instead of TIFFs.

What's the LDAP port set to on the exchange 5.5 server that you are
pointing forestprep to? If it is anything other than 389, forestprep
can get upset and return this error.

Well, consider this. You have no AV on your Exchange server. Joe User
decides to check his hotmail account and accidentally unleashes a nice mail
virus. Now this virus is going to head straight for your OL contact or the
GAL and promptly infect every mailbox on the network.
Nice huh?

The AD schema has nothing to do with it. You can install an E2K3 server into
a Windows 2000 domain and the E2K3 install will extend the schema
appropriately.
