I really like the public folder idea, but I should have said that the
boss needs to access the mailbox from home. I don't have OWA setup so I
need to use POP3 access.

I guess it's not possible to hide a mailbox and still be able to access it
by another user??
you can usually hide the mailbox and use SMTP address to send and receive
emails. probably outlook express or outlook with SMTP addr

Create it add it to the users outlook, then hide it. User will be able to
access it but no one will 'see' it in the GAL.
