What's disheartening is that more reliable (and fast) service to the
internet has not become more affordable to the small business owner in the
9 years I've been doing this. You are forced to pay out the wazoo for a
service you generally need to run your business but cannot always afford.

Shirley Comcast will allow you to relay your outbound mail through their
MXed, reverse-DNSed mailhost, right? If so, just point your Exchange server
to relay all outbound mail through them.
If not, ditch Comcast. They're not a business-class ISP
place repetitive expressions by calls to a common function.
