So far so good.
My Flex3000 came back from repair today, and I have been running the PB 2.0 SVN
3714 most of the day - just installed the 2.0 Beta
and now the ATU does indeed tune my antenna on bands it would not before.
Impressed.

Do you have to update the firmware first or is this included in the
installer?
Thanks

Brian,
I keep it and in fact I added some inputs and translated it to the new
type (XML) database in order to use it with the current versions. I like
it for SWL.
If you want it I can send it directly to your email, I have to purge my

Tim,
He really should refer to the KC article on editing the BandText table for
guidance before attempting to do so.

Try using the K3 as the interface instead of TS2000 and run N1MM through DDUTIL
into the F5K
When we were setting up SO2R we had some trouble with the TS2000 interface. We
also had trouble with the K3 interface but But K5FR was able to filter things
in DDUTIL in such a way as to make it work
You can modify the frequency display alpha tags in the database by
adding/modifying records in the BandText section of the XML file or the
BandText table in a MDB file, depending on the version of PowerSDR you are
using.

A few years ago I downloaded an enhanced frequency database for the SDR-1000.
The file inserted a description "Maritime RTTY" for example, instead of "Out of
Band" in the descriptor field. Does anyone know where to find that file today?
Tnx,
Brian

Look on the web site right hand sidebar for the comparison matrix. It
is about 83 dB IMD DR3 at any spacing.

Is the tech spec for the 1500 available yet?
I've been considering a Perseus or an Excalibur, but if the 1500 RX spec
is comparable with or better than those two RXs, then the 1500 has the
added advantage of having a QRP TX as well, for about the same price.

I've used N1MM Log for the past year or so, Cat , Telnet and Winkey
all have worked fine from the Start.. Here's the problem I'm having,
If I use Split on my F5K all the micros in N1MM change to the wav as
if in SSB . I'm in split at this time and N1MM logger is showing
