--- Begin Message ---Hi all,I have the following difficulty with RADIUSMy passwd file: /etc/passwd has the following entriesroot:x:504:504::/root/bin/bash--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------My group file: /etc/raddb/group has the following entriesroot:x:1:rootdemo:x:1:demo,r--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------My users file: /etc/raddb/users has the following entriesDEFAULT Group-Name == "root", Auth-Type := LocalFall-Through = Yes,Filter-Id = "DENY TCP 192.168.10.192 ANY"DEFAULT Group-Name == "demo", Auth-Type := LocalFall-Through = Yes,Filter-Id = "DENY TCP ANY"root Auth-Type := Local, User-Password == "root"r Auth-Type := Local, User-Password == "r"demo Auth-Type := Local, User-Password == "demo"--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Now user "r" belongs to group "demo". I want that the policy specified in the Filter-Id attribute of group "demo" be applicable to user "r". I get that only when user "r" is present in the passwd file also, even if "r" has Auth-Type := Local. My passwd file is /etc/passwd.I want to work without the passwd file in case of Local users. How do I do that??sanketYahoo! India Matrimony: Find your life partner online.
