Trying to do sha authorization with rlm_pap/rlm_passwd

Has the issue with base64 encoded SHA mentioned in the link below been 
resolved, digging around the CVS interface and changelog turned up nothing.

The SHA passwords are base64 encoded. The PAP module does not support this yet.
I 'll try and add support for that in the near future.

I'm generating a password file for rlm_passwd from apache's htpasswd -s , but 
FreeRadius pukes with an error message when trying to authorize from it
