When in the TLS configuration portion in the eap.conf file, I change the following lines:
private_key_file = ${raddbdir}/certs/cert-srv.pem
certificate_file = ${raddbdir}/certs/cert-srv.pem
to
private_key_file = ${raddbdir}/certs/cert-srv.der
certificate_file = ${raddbdir}/cer
