Hey, I just wondered if there's an option to "move" the community from the old IRC to a new slack workspace.
There's a great article comparing Slack with IRC: https://www.slant.co/versus/4553/4557/~slack_vs_irc. It is very comfortable. Every workspace can be splitted to different "channels", each channel for one topic. It has a lot of extensions and integrates with a lot stuff such as github, trello (issues management), google calendar, etc... I know that it might be hard to move all people from the IRC to slack, but I think that is a move that should be done.
