Hmm, forget what I said in my previous post... :( Irman is working correctly, Lirc daemon starts up without any problem. Then I launch Freevo (which is version 1.5.1 btw.) and the process LIRCD mysteriously disappears again from my process list. For your information, I'm running Freevo on Fedora
