Thanks for the suggestion, but it messed up the layout something
wicked: over a 100 short circuits in my 1800+ nets. I'd prefer a simple
script to weed out lines of 0 and 1 mil length, and I don't

I definitely will, as soon as business here slows down just a little,
hopefully in a month or so -- I'm quite willing to make a contribution,
to put it mildly.

Is there a way to change the solder mask on only one side of the board,
but not the other side? When I use the K key over a via, the solder mask
changes on both sides.

Other candidates for bad solder joints are larger pins in general,
because these conduct the heat away from the solder joint in the
manufacturer's wave soldering process, causing 'cold', brittle joints
from the onset. And don't forget to check the SCAR
nd at some easy-to-understand, step-by-step beginner's manuals with
lots of examples, to get newbies up to speed without them having to go
through all these little pitfalls along the way I stepped into
(sometimes even on more than one occasion).
Thanks once more, all the best,

Gwave is available as a Mandriva package, but it needs

providing examples work. The more, the better.
Actually, as it is my job anyway, I could write a decent manual -- once
