Hi Rob,
Can you try this: Move the mouse cursor over the text, and use the 's' key to
make it bigger.. Shift-s should make it smaller. This should work for text on
copper layers too.

Yes, thanks! I just found the T key from the shortcut menu in the
window menu.
S does increase the text.
