When I start up a dosemu session, the tap0 device is created and I can
assign an IP and bring it up. However, I have no clue how to get the
networking working withing the dosemu session itself...

The directory "/lib/modules" does not exist on the system and, as I said
before, module support is not compiled into the kernel.
I would like to clean up the four modprobe errors. Also, I am curious
about the "xargs" entry as well.

Mailman and Postfix work GREAT together! Postfix can read alias
configurations straight from Mailman. (no need to add entries to your
virtual or alias maps for your mailing lists)

Doing a new install on my laptop. I get a "ERROR 404: Not Found" when
trying to emerge pcmcia-cs. I've done a "emerge sync" and everything is
up to date. Specifically, the error occurs when trying to grab
"orinoco-0.11b.tar.gz". What gives??

Serves me right for trusting the make.conf comments. :) (perhaps someone

I will go with "athlon" then.

If starting with stage 1, run:
Code listing 4.7
# scripts/bootstrap.sh
This may take a while. You now have a stage 2 Gentoo.
Then:
Code listing 4.8
# export CONFIG_PROTECT=""
# emerge system
You now have a stage 3 Gentoo.
mykey=cps[0]+"\"+cps[1]
TypeError: unsubscriptable object
[none] / #
Now, if I simply skip the bootstap and go to the next step, which is:
# export CONFIG_PROTECT=""
# emerge system
I get the same type of error as above.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
