Thank you Carl for getting back to me. I ended up getting the 250 to work. It
was an adventure to say the least. Being i'm running the 2.6 kernel. But it
does work, and with a little fines(sp) i can get it to do what i want.

Join the ivtv mailing list. There's a guy on it that has an ebuild for
ivtv.
FWIW, I've got a 350. I started with vanilla sources because I couldn't
get gentoo-sources to work. I applied the v4l2 patch, compile and then
compiled ivtv against it. (I'm compressing about a weeks worth of work
i'm running the 2.6.1 kernel, have all i needed compiled as modules;
ic2-core(and the rest needed by ic2), v4l, bttv, . I've been scouring the
forums for useful informaiton on getting this card to work, but i have no had
no luck.
it also doesn't help that i can't compile ivtv with the 2.6.1 ker
