-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I am using the KDE CVS ebuilds, which means I have to put up with the odd crash here and there (but I think it's worth it), so to be useful I was considering compiling KDE stuff with gcc -ggdb (plus my other flags) so that I get debugging info.
Are there disadvantages of using binaries compiled with -ggdb? I assume it makes the binaries bigger, but does it affect performance?
