I upgraded to ghostscript-afpl because of problems with version 7 of ghostscript and the current version of imagemagick in portage. Version 8 of ghostscript now works nicely with imagemagick however it is missing the print driver that I need (escpage or lp8900).
I would like to know if anyone has been able to successfully add output devices to version 8 of ghostscript and if so how? I have gone through and recompiled multiple packages with different options but it does not seem to help (gimp-print, foomatic [db....], cups, and the latest version of ghostscript in bugs 8.52).
