It is hard for us to comprehend where the problem lies without example error
output or error stacktrace. If possible, can you attach your mapping file,
example output or error log from tomcat(or whatever web server you are using).

Ciao,
they usually share the same data dir (or actually a synched copy) and
the data is shared via putting files on identically mounted network
locations or using shared DBs.

thanks, that was what i looked for.
I was a bit unclear with the definition - the data is stored as 10k * real
value. So ogc:div works just fine!
