It was GeoSolutions that urgently wanted the bug fixes to JAITools that are contained in v1.3.1. That was a few months ago, so it seems surprising that neither GeoTools or GeoServer have taken advantage of them. If that's due to any continuing problems at the JAITools end, let me know. Michael O
