Dear Friends,
I have a copy of the tractate Mourning (Semahot) from the Yale
Judaica Series. I am using Elazar for cataloging and I do not see
any heading for this tractate in the 100s. What call number should
I give this?
Thank you,

I have a question about cataloging a book of festschrift; a
collection of essays about no particular subject - just on topics
that the honoree, a rabbi, was interested in. How does one handle these?
(We use Weine). Thanks in advance...

sometimes the "adult" subject headings and the
"children's" subject headings disagree.
So "X" may be a perfectly good "adult" subject
heading, but is not the valid "children's" heading

I work part-time (4 hours) a week in my temple's library as the children's

I am beginning to automate my library manually and the children's library
is separate from the adult. There is no adult librari
