Hi Everyone,
I have been doing some IHC staining on slides that are 20 years old or more.
Depending on the antibody the staining is pale in comparison to my control
slide. Does anyone have experience with staining older slides? Do you have
any tips to share? The slide storage conditions ar

I have some old H&E slides that I would like to try IHC staining on. I am
having trouble keeping the tissue on the slide.
I put a slide in xylene to remove the cover slip and eventually the section

The second time I tried Mount-Quick from Newcomer

I am using TOP1 that originally worked at 1:100 dilution. I am now using at
1:20.
Any ideas why the staining has decreased so much? I have it stored in -20 in
aliquots.
Or has someone found a TOP1 that works for them.
It is too expensive to run at 1:20. Thanks,

Hi histonetters,
Has anyone made up paraffin blocks from cells from a cell line. This is new to
me. I assume they will be in some kind of a media. We will be getting the
cells and incubating them to grow.
Thanks in advance for the help
