Hi Mark, We still have this issue after two years of complaining to Roche. We've had multiple TAS's come in and we've sent slides to Tucson. They've gone over the instruments, etc. Long story short, their fix was adding something to their package insert that says "Schiff's Reagent is known to contain some needle-like precipitate. At expected levels, this precipitate should not affect assay performance". Good luck.
