Dear Histology Gurus, I read some where that one can do Azure B counter staining to stain the melanin green to distinguish it from DAB in a IHC section that contains brown melanin. Have anyone tried this? It seems less harmful to the antigenicity of the tissue than bleaching with hydrogen peroxide or K permanganate/oxalic acid treatment.
