I had a box of low profile blades with the same problem. The vendor sent
me a new box.

I've had the same problem. I started keeping them in a ziplock with
desiccant packets and it seems to help. Even then I have to bang them top-down
to advance the blades to the top so they catch on to the slider mechanism.
