I don't believe this is unethical or illegal. It is written into our IACUC
approved protocols as follows:
Chemical Method of Euthanasia: "Perfusion under general anesthesia, Avertin
or Halothane induced. Bilateral thoracotomy."
Could it only be forbidden by your f
