I was surprised to see all the references to "setting" or "mordanting" of India ink. I have used Higgins ink for many years (No. 4415 Waterproof Drawing Ink). I just blot the tissue, apply the ink, wait a few seconds, blot the excess ink, and drop the tissue back into formalin or alcohol. I have n
