Hi Bader, I've been a Histotechnologist for 30 years, and the Leitz 1512 is the best microtome I have ever used. (And I've used a lot)I can easily cut 1-2 micron sections of any tissue, including bone. I don't know where you are located, but if you are anywhere near Los Angeles, "Fritz Instruments
