I was wondering if the bug fixes were important enough to warrant porting over from the 2.2 SDK? I'm not really concerned with any fixes to Half-Life itself (gauss fixes, etc) as well. Thanks! Georges -- Project Lead/Coder Gladiator mod [EMAIL PROTECTED] ICQ: 11425443 MSN: [EMAIL P

Nope, doesn't work for me or icewolf. And I'm sure I'm typing in the right one because it does something different than when you type in a wrong one. In IE, it says Error: opener.location is not an object, and then takes you to cgi-bin/login.pl which tries to close your window. Persuter At 07:10

In the past, we've released the "Full SDK" (which included the AI/monster source for single-player) and the "Standard SDK" (which did not include the AI/monster source). Now there will just be one SDK and it will include folders called "Single-Player Source" and "Multiplayer Source". These folde

I have a question. What does it mean that the source code for both single-player and multiplayer mods will be included in the same installer? Weren't they always, or are you simply discontinuing the "Standard" SDK? Also, is there a list of these bugs? And finally, I can't log in to the server. :

If you read the EULA carefully, it does forbid any non-online distribution. However, Valve is pretty generous with these things - a quick e-mail asking for permission is probably your best bet. dd -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] On Behalf Of Ryan "P

I don't think the issue here is who plays the mod but rather who distributes it -- a magazine is technically a commercial product, and they are charging for it. Legally, the issue here is whether the accompanying CD is considered a freebie or part of the entire product. - Original Message --

I doubt it. Most (if not all) mods are available for download at various websites to anyone who feels like downloading them (even non-HL users). I don't think this type of distribution would be in violation of the license because only HL players would be able to play it. (if my ramblings made a

Plenty of mods are distributed in many different magazines... I don't think there's a problem with the SDK licence. The only thing you can't do is to sell it. It isn't the case, because the user buys the mag, not your mod ;) - Cortex : HL Albator coder and mapper ( www.hlalbator.fr.st )
