I bought the leadpipe from a local
repair guy as a "new" pipe that had been
soldered to more than one horn for trials.
I'm sure it was purchased new by him from
Conn's Eastlake operation as a replacement
8D pipe. sure works great on the

Jerry, what was the vintage of that 8D leadpipe? Was that a brand new,

I got lucky.
As long as you are experimenting,
you might try an 8D or 28D pipe.
