Control points in PTGuiPro where automatically detected, and led to no
stitching errors. Hence, the images are "good enough" for automatic
control point detection and automatic stitching.
Hugin failed to replicate this behaviour. Only *AFTER* I *manually*

Can you please check if this is due to a memory error that is not
catched? If so, please report back to the user that not enough memory is
available to complete the operation.

For selecting a single control point the fast preview is simply to
rough. So it is very difficult to select a single point. This can work
if the fast preview window has some kind of zoom feature.

Have you tried the HDR output option? This is not only for combing LDR

I assume, you had some wrong control points in your projects: maybe
there were control points between images, which does not overlap. Or
there were control points on near object - resulting in parallax error.
This can disturb the optimizer. So use the control points list to find
such bogus cp. Or l
The PTBatcherGUI windows can be shown when double clicking on the tray
icon. Or do a right mouse click on the tray icon and select "Show
window" from the context menu. A single left click does indeed nothing -
like the case in many tray icons.

I'm not sure if running several instances of nona or enblend parallel is a good
idea. Both program can use several threads/core parallel. So running several

The setting in the preferences is for *new* projects. Made the description a
bit more precise. If you change this setting you need to start a new project,
then they will be used.
The setting for the current active project can be changed on the stitcher tab.

I found an other issue: On Fedora 15 clicking on the splash screen did not
result in a segmentation, instead Hugin did not start. The patch did not solve
this issue.
So I wrote an own splash screen, which does ignore the key strokes or mouse
clicks (changeset 53c905b5907a).
